Team Leader Electro installation / Key Account Manager, Security and Automation Department

  • When did you join Telelink and how is your career going so far?

I joined Telelink in March 2014, when the management team invited me to lead the Security and Automation Department in Germany. The next 4 years I managed different projects in Germany, participating in all project phases, from the presale stage to the implementation and handing over to the customers. In 2018 I had to choose whether to stay and live in Germany or to look for other opportunities for professional development in Bulgaria. And I chose the second option. At this time a Security and Automation Department was established in Bulgaria, which comprised an Electro installation unit in order to offer our customers the full set of electrical, low voltage systems and building automation. This is the time I took the role of a Project Manager of a few complex, large-scale and complicated projects like Richhill Business Center, Hyatt Regency Sofia, German Embassy and others.

 

  • What does your job entail and what challenges do you meet?

Now I continue managing a few strategic projects. In parallel I am responsible for the preparation of project solutions and presales part related to electro installations. My work requires continuous and daily communication with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors. I participate in the preparation of price quotations and budgeting of potential projects. In addition, I coordinate the design of the electro installations. My biggest challenge is to keep the balance between completing a project, successful for the company, and keeping high level of customer satisfaction.

 

  • What kind of knowledge, skills and qualities do you need to perform this role? How do you upgrade?

I have more than 20 years in the execution of a variety of building construction, industrial and infrastructure projects. Nevertheless, I continue enriching my knowledge and skills with every project. I don’t miss the opportunity to participate in trainings, either internal ones for personal development and leadership, or external, organized mainly by vendors for improvement of professional competencies.

 

  • What do you value most in your workplace? What’s your biggest motivator to come to work in the morning?

I value the most the team, the high level of company culture and the positive working environment. I keep myself motivated because Telelink always strive to participate in challenging large-scale, complex and high-tech projects, and I am honoured to be part of their successful completion.
