Telelink Infra, Sofia University and Net-Zero Lab Agreement meeting for Energy Transition

Telelink Infra has officially signed a Cooperation Agreement with Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the Applied Research Laboratory for Carbon Neutrality Transition (Net-Zero Lab) at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration

The partnership aims to develop and implement applied research projects and educational initiatives supporting students and PhD candidates, while establishing sustainable forms of collaboration between business and academia in the field of energy transition.

Key Areas of Cooperation

1. RES Innovation Camp

Telelink Infra will support the annual RES Innovation Camp – an initiative designed to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurial thinking in the field of renewable energy sources (RES) and energy storage.
The event will bring together students, young professionals, experts, and business partners to work on real-life case studies related to decarbonization and energy system transformation.

2. Expert and Media Content Development

The partners will jointly create data-driven online and media content highlighting the role of digital technologies and intelligent infrastructure in ensuring the security and reliability of renewable energy systems. The initiative will also address misinformation through technological facts, real projects, and system-level solutions.

3. Techno-Economic Analyses and System Integration

The cooperation includes the joint development and publication of techno-economic analyses focused on improving energy system flexibility in high-RES environments, as well as system integration of renewables, battery storage, EV infrastructure, and smart grids.
