At a special ceremony, the CEO of Telelink Infra and representing the Green Border – 4 Consortium – Dinna Temelkova, together with the Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov, the Federal Minister of the Interior of Austria Gerhard Karner and Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov, Director of the Border Police Directorate, opened the first sensor line at border pyramid 231, in the area of the village of Golyam Dervent (Elhovo Border Police Station).
The new line is a key element of the strategic security of one of the most sensitive areas of the Bulgarian-Turkish border.
Within the framework of the project, the Local Coordination Center (LCC) Elhovo and the Regional Coordination Center (RCC) were successfully renovated – which significantly increased:
- Reactivity
- Traceability
- Operational capacity of the border services
