Challenge
The General Directorate “Border Police” required continuous maintenance and dependable operation of its stationary and mobile technical surveillance posts — critical systems that provide real-time situational awareness and support border security. The objective was to maintain the “Krasta” stationary post and three mobile technical surveillance posts (MTSPs) in full working condition under demanding operational environments.
Solution
Telelink Infra Services delivered comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services across all surveillance units. Key activities included:
-
Preventive maintenance and full diagnostics for the Stationary Technical Surveillance Post “Krasta”.
-
Servicing of thermal imaging and CCD cameras, pneumatic masts, and recording systems on mobile units.
-
Repair and testing of Fisher Panda diesel generators to ensure autonomous field power.
-
Verification of earthing and lightning protection systems for enhanced operational safety.
-
Supply and replacement of equipment — PAN/TILT devices, air compressors, joysticks, and cooling systems for multisensor cameras.
-
Preventive maintenance of air conditioning, power systems, and critical electronic components.
Maintenance was carried out both on-site at “Krasta” near Svilengrad and at mobile deployment locations, providing full flexibility with minimal operational disruption.
Outcome
The Border Police retained uninterrupted surveillance capabilities across all monitored regions. System reliability was strengthened, downtime minimized, and critical equipment lifespan extended — safeguarding Bulgaria’s border infrastructure and ensuring continuous situational awareness.
